Amazingly, approximately 20% of these businesses are for sale at any one time, as their owners face retirement, poor health, divorce, "burn-out", or other personal issues. The owners wish to sell their good businesses, but want to do so in a confidential manner – thereby protecting the business and its customers, employees and suppliers, and enabling the business to remain open and generating income as the sales process moves forward.
Business brokers help meet the needs of these individuals.
As a business broker, you will find businesses for sale and work with buyers to put transactions together. You will work with business owners, accountants, attorneys, and bankers as you progress through the listing to close process to make the best deal for everyone. For providing this service, brokers are paid a success fee by the seller of the business.

Income
If you have the interest, interpersonal skills, and desire to work hard and succeed, the earning potential for a business broker is unlimited. A recent Business Broker survey found that 65% of all brokers made more than $100,000 with 21% earning between $200,000 and $300,000. What are the rewards for a person who works conscientiously at business brokerage? With at 12% commission for selling a $1 million business - you do the math! You are in charge of your financial destiny!
Opportunity
We are offering an entry level, full time, commission position as a business broker. A successful broker will have the opportunity to move up to a more challenging, managerial and/or partnership position as he/she gains experience and proves his/her competence through managing successful transactions.
Training
We provide complete training and support right here in our office! The training is free to those who join our team. We will train you to:
• Learn the transaction process
• Build relationships with buyers and sellers
• Appraise a business for value and sale ability
• Assess and qualify prospective buyers
• Make a business presentation
• Understand business financing and assist the buyer in finding financing for his transaction
• Get to the closing table
